My first time using Airbnb. We stayed over with our family, no kids, just 5 of us searching for peaceful place to stay while exploring Alaska during daylight. We were so happy we canceled our hotel reservations and chose this property instead. Very quiet, private and inspiring. Since we’re first timers at Airbnb property we can’t compare but we travel a lot, I mean a lot. The experience, atmosphere totally worth canceling any hotel to stay at this property instead. I would definitely stay here again. It was -25F at some point outside. Property was warm and cozy. Super satisfied.

I don’t usually leave long reviews because most stays are exactly what you’d expect — but this one truly exceeded all expectations. The moment we walked into the house, we were stunned. It looked like our dream home: spotless, beautifully furnished, and honestly even better than the photos. We drove an hour to get here, and it was absolutely worth it. The price is also very reasonable for what you get. The highlight of our stay was definitely the sauna — coming back on a freezing winter day and enjoying a warm, relaxing steam felt like pure bliss. If you’re visiting Alaska, you have to stay here! Highly recommended.

We truly have no words for how beautiful our stay was. From the moment we arrived, we were absolutely blown away! The home is stunning from the inside out - The decor really made us feel immmersed in the Alaskan experience. The rooms & linens were pristine, the kitchen was immaculate & the sauna & movie theatre were awesome amenities to have! The home is quiet & private & sitting out on the 2nd story porch was so delightful in the morning with a cup of coffee. We also loved that there were tons of games we could play as a family in the evenings - so much fun! The welcome/guest book was full of wonderful recommendations & we visited a couple of the places mentioned & were so impressed - Especially Settlers Bay Lodge right down the road! We will absolutely be re-booking when we come back to Alaska & will be recommending this to anyone we know who comes, as well! Thank you for being such a fabulous host & offering such a beautiful home for guests to stay in - It's our new favorite Airbnb!
